Ferrari Dino 246

I happened by the shop of a local car collector I know... And his Ferrari Dino just happened to be outside so I was able to get some pictures...

    I love "just happned to" circumstances! What a beautiful car! I love this angle and the flare on the chrome. Nice job...and did I say great car?! I also like the backgroud.

    Those Dinos are incredible.

    This is pure art...!
    And this one had the open top, très chic.

    The engine is a (Fiat) transverse V6, and to change the 3 spark-plugs that are near the seats is a real nighmare"

    :-)))

    Thanks guys... I do know where his storage place is and it's on my way home depending where I'm coming from, so I make a point to drive by there just in case...

    I think that is probably my favorite car from his collection. The others might be more valuable but that one just looks close to perfect.

    Nice pic - well composed. The Dino never got the respect due it from Ferrrari enthusiasts, but I always found this a pleasing design.

    Wow, nice Dino. I think I have a photo of a yellow one somewhere. I'll have to try to find it. Your other work is great too and I love the Holmes icon.

    Thanks again folks...

    Just happened to be at the right place at the right time for this one, and took advantage of it

    An amazing car, even not beeing well loved by some Ferrari fans.
    The engine was used on the Lancia Stratos (with better results, due to the weight) and was very well succeed. The sound is wonderful!

    @David G.

    Isn't some of the stigma the lack of a "Ferrari" badge on the front? A shame really for those who think that way, as I think it's a beautiful car, and I've heard lots of good things about driving them as well...

    wow, this is just awesome. I love this car, had a model of it when i was a kid and always thought it looked cool.

    There is no Ferrari badge on the front because its not a Ferrari (in name anyway) - its separate marque called Dino. The V6 powered cars were sold this way to not "devalue" the big engine cars. A lot of owners add a Ferrari badge on - stock they don't say Ferrari anywhere.
