A Captured Moment with my Grandson
My grandson, Perrin, towers over me -- not that that is a hard thing to do because I am only 5'2" but it means that he is no longer my wee one -- the little boy I have cuddled for the past 15 years. He is moving on to becoming a man and that's a hard realization for a grandmother's heart.
I don't get to see him as much anymore, but when we do get together, he indulges my photography. Like today we went to an outdoor festival that was not really his thing, but he made do. He walked around with me and participated in making photo art.
I adore the suggested lightness of his intended touch and the sunlight on his fingertips.
Love you, Perrin. Thanks for being my grandson. May you always be blessed with the Lord's golden light.
