Details: Michael William Leonard Tutton (1913-1941), born 24 June 1913, son of Dr Alfred Edwin Howard Tutton, FRS, and Margaret Ethel M. Tutton, of 60 Grange Road, Cambridge, later of Yelverton, Devon, and Yew Arch House, The Street, Dallington, Sussex.


Attended St Edmund's School, Grayshott, Hindhead.


Attended Sherborne School (School House) September 1927-April 1928; scholar.


Scholar, Eton College; Natural History Prize 1930-1931


Scholar, Exeter College, Oxford, B.A.


Assistant treasurer, District Officer, Colonial Administrative Service, Tanganyika.


WW2, Captain in the Kenya Regiment (General List), attached to the Ethiopian Regiment. Died of wounds at Gondar, Ethiopia, on 12 November 1941, aged 28.
