Details: Rivers Earwaker Brittan Gill (1907-1941), born at Park Street, London on 15 August 1907, son of Dr George Clifford Brittan Gill (1880-1955) and Ella Ursula Gill (née Jamieson) of Southwell House, Frederick Road, Leicester, formerly of Green Lane, Belper, Derbyshire.


Siblings: John Clifford Brittan Gill (1905-1967), Sydney Brittan Gill (1909-1982), Mary Clifford Gill.


Spouse: Margaret Eileen Radford.


Attended All Hallow's School, Honiton, Devon.


Attended Sherborne School (Harper House) September 1920-July 1924; XXX Blazer; Senior Class Leader with Badge; Corporal in OTC.


1939, Wholesale Clothier Traveller living at 26 Medway Road, Leicester.


WW2, Second Lieutenant in the Queen's Royal Regiment. Died on active service in Kent on 25 October 1941, aged 33.
