Details: George Leslie Crocker (1911-1943), born 24 February 1911, son of Brigadier-General George Delamain Crocker, C.B., and of Norah Crocker, of Chelsea, London (formerly of Astrop Grange, Kings Sutton, Banbury, later of Moreton Morrell, Warwickshire).
Attended Edgeborough School, Guildford, Surrey.
Attended Sherborne School (School House) September 1924-April 1929; Sergeant in OTC.
Royal Military College, Sandhurst.
WW2, Major, 6th Battalion, Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers. Awarded the Military Cross. Killed in action at Sangro River, Italy on 3 November 1943, aged 32.
