Details: James Ernest Bradfield (1923-1944), born 13 May 1923, son of Ernest Dixon Bradfield and Phyllis Ida Bradfield, of The Laurels, Longstock, Stockbridge, Hampshire.


Attended [West Haye?] School, Winchester, Hampshire.


Attended Sherborne School (School House) September 1937-July 1941; 6th form; Lance-Corporal in JTC.


WW2, Trooper, ‘B’ Squadron, North Irish Horse, Royal Armoured Corps (RAC). Killed in action in Italy on 28 August 1944, aged 21.
