Details: David Charles Beal (1922-1945), born 28 October 1922, son of Alfred C. Beal and Alice Beal of Dean Chine, Chislehurst, Kent.


Half-brother of Flt. Lt. Tom Murray, RAF Swaythling, Southampton.


Attended Pennthorpe preparatory school, Chislehurst, Kent.


Attended Sherborne School (The Green) September 1936-July 1940; 6th form.


WW2, Flying Officer (Pilot), 232 Squadron, Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve (RAFVR). Killed on active service at Ondal, Bengal on 16 December 1945, aged 23.
