Details: Lindsay Douglas Alexander (1901-1943), born 28 November 1901, son of William Alexander (Member Legislative Assembly, Madras) and Mildred Capel Alexander of South Kensington, London, formerly of Shenstone, Westerham Road, Bournemouth.

 

Siblings: Malcolm Alexander and Peggy (Bunty) Mackenzie.

 

Attended The Old Ride preparatory school, Bournemouth.

 

Attended Sherborne School (Harper House) September 1915-July 1919; XXX Blazer.

 

In business in India.

 

Private secretary.

 

WW2, Lance-Corporal, 247 Motor Boat Company, Royal Army Service Corps. Died in Corsica on active service on 29 October 1943, aged 41. Buried at sea.
