Details: Rupert Gordon Conrad Lochner (1925-1945), born 2 February 1925, son of Major General Rupert Gordon Lochner, M.C., and Valerie Maude Lochner (nee Gray) of The Barracks, Brecon.

 

Attended Wellesley House preparatory school, Broadstairs, Kent.

 

Attended Sherborne School (Harper House) September 1938-July 1940. Afterwards, attended a school in India.

 

WW2, Captain, Somerset Light Infantry. Missing, believed drowned, on 10 June 1945 while on active service in Ceylon, aged 20.
