Details: James Ernest Douglas Lobb (1915-1943), born 16 October 1915, son of Eric St. John Lobb and Rhoda Ernestine Lobb of Whyteposts, Amersham, Buckinghamshire, later of Penn. Married Angela Mary de Courcy of Hampstead, London.


Attended Mount House School, Plymouth, Devon.


Attended Sherborne School (Harper House) January 1930-December 1932.


Law student; solicitor.


WW2, Captain, ‘C’ Squadron, 51st (The Leeds Rifles), Royal Tank Regiment, R.A.C. Killed in action at Bouarada, Tunisia on 22 April 1943, aged 27.
