Details: Donald Gordon Ogilvie (1916-1943), born 16 October 1916, son of Gerald Albinus Brown, later known as Gerald Albinus Ogilvie (Old Shirburnian) of 81 Park View Court, High Street, Hurlingham, London, formerly of Knaresborough Lodge, Midhope Road, Woking.
Attended Allen House preparatory school, Woking.
Attended Sherborne School (The Green) May 1930-July 1932.
WW2, Squadron-Leader (Pilot), 180 Squadron, Royal Air Force. Killed in action over Flushing, Holland, on 13 June 1943, aged 26.

Obituary, 'The Shirburnian', December 1944: 'Donald Gordon Ogilvie, Squadron-Leader, R.A.F., was reported missing, believed killed, in June 1943, his death in action being presumed in February 1944. He left School very young and joined Imperial Airways Ltd. He was awarded the D.F.C. in February 1941.'
