Details: Harry Curtis Lane Nisbet (1917-1940), born 22 April 1917, son of Harry Courtenay Carey Nisbet (Old Shirburnian) and Ada Ethel Nisbet, of Hampton, Middlesex.

 

Attended Sherborne Preparatory School.

 

Attended Sherborne School (School House) 1931-1935.

 

Articled to a solicitor.

 

WW2, Private, 1st Battalion, East Surrey Regiment. Killed by enemy action at Bournemouth on 16 November 1940, aged 23.
