Details: William Peter Macalister Hall (1909-1941), born 10 December 1919, son of Major William Macalister Hall (Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders) and Amelia Macalister Hall of Torrisdale Castle, Carradale, Campbeltown, Argyll.


Attended Edgeborough School, Guildford, Surrey.


Attended Sherborne School (School House) January-April 1924 (left to attended 'a stammer curer').


Royal Agricultural College, 1928-1930.


WW2, Private, 2nd Battalion, Royal Scots (The Royal Regiment). Killed in action at Hong Kong on 21 December 1941, aged 22, during confused fighting for control of the strategically important Wong Nei Chung Gap.
