Details: Nigel Henry Vizard Havelock-Sutton (1921-1944), born 6 January 1921, son of Captain George Havelock-Sutton, MC, and Ethel Havelock-Sutton (nee Vizard) (d. 11.12.1932); grandson of Mrs Hilda Margaret Vizard (d.1.1.1955), 18 Barton Gardens, Sherborne, Dorset. Lived at Sopers Cottage, Chipstead, Surrey. His uncle, Harold Talbot Vizard MC (1896-1918), had been killed in action during the First World War


Attended Connaught House preparatory school, Weymouth.


Attended Sherborne School (Harper House: Elmdene waiting house) January-December 1933.


Attended Bruton School.


WW2, Flight-Sergeant, 547 Squadron, Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve (RAFVR), Coastal Command. Killed in action over the Bay of Biscay on 12 April 1944, aged 23.
