Details: Derrick Winson Ramsay (1891-1916), born in Christchurch on 22 August 1891, son of Dr. Frank Winson Ramsay and Charlotte Elizabeth Ramsay (nee Drake) of Jesmond Dene, Braidley Road, Bournemouth.


Attended Saugeen School, Bournemouth.


Attended Sherborne School (Harper House) September 1905-July 1909.


Attended Armstrong College, Newcastle.


Occupation: Engineering.


WW1, Lieutenant in the Sherwood Foresters (Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire Regiment), 10th (S.) Bn. Killed in the attack on the International Trench near Ypres on 14 February 1916.
