Details: Eric Seth Ward (1898-1917), born 4 August 1898 in Pinner, Middlesex. Son of Charles Melville Seth Ward (Architect, Captain in RFC) and Elsie Violet Ward of Sutmer Court, Chalfont St. Giles, Buckinghamshire.


Attended Beaudesert Park preparatory school, Henley-in-Arden.


Attended Sherborne School (Lyon House) September 1911-July 1914.


WW1, 2nd Lieutenant in the Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire Infantry. Gentleman Cadet, Royal Military College, Sandhurst; 3rd Bn., Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire Light Infantry; attached to the Royal Air Force. Missing, presumed killed in France on 10 August 1917.
