Details: James John Frost (1895-1916), born 31 March 1895, son of James John Frost and Ellen Katherine Frost, of Glebe House, Hayes, Kent, formerly of St Margaret's, Epping; brother of Arthur Colin Frost (1896-1915).


Attended Gresham's School, Holt, Norfolk.


Attended Sherborne School (Harper House) September 1910-April 1912; 1st XV rugby football team 1911.


WW1, Lieutenant in the Northumberland Fusiliers, 11th (S.) Bn; Senior Machine Gun Officer. Killed at the Somme in France on 7 July 1916.
