    Details: Percy Netterville Gerrard (1870-1915), born 9 August 1870 in Dublin, son of Thomas Gerrard and Elizabeth Gerrard; husband of Clare Gerrard, of 66D, Princes Square, Bayswater, London.

    Attended Sherborne School (Harper House) May 1884-July 1887.

    Occupation: Doctor in Kuala Lumpur.

    Author of 'Beri-Beri; Its Symptoms and Symptomatic Treatment' (1904), 'A Vocabulary of Malay Medical Terms' (1905) and 'On the Hygienic Management of Labour in the Tropics' (1913).

    WW1, Captain in the Malay State Volunteer Rifles. Killed on 15 February 1915 in the Singapore mutiny while Commandant of the Prisoner of War camp, apparently because he refused to hand over the key to an ammunition store.
