Details: Edwin Spencer Croft-Smith (1892-1915), born in Islington on 1 April 1892, son of John Croft-Smith and Louisa Ellen Croft-Smith of Spencer Lodge, 20, Ferncroft Avenue, Hampstead, London. Brother of Ethel Carolina (1894-1940) and Marian Clarissa (b.1903).


Attended Heath Mount preparatory school, Hampstead, Surrey.


Attended Sherborne School (School House) September 1906- April 1909.


WW1, 2nd Lieutenant in the King's Royal Rifle Corps, 4th Bn. Killed at Ypres Salient on 10 May 1915.
