Details: George Herbert Fearnley-Whittingstall (1892-1916), born 17 September 1892 at Marlow, Buckinghamshire. Son of the Rev. Herbert Oakes Fearnley-Whittingstall and Alice May Fearnley-Whittingstall (nee Wethered) of The Rectory, Chalfont St. Giles, Buckinghamshire.


Attended Charters Towers preparatory school, East Grinstead, Surrey.


Attended Sherborne School (School House) May 1907-April 1909.


Attended Queens' College, Cambridge.


WW1, 2nd Lieutenant in the Northumberland Fusiliers, 2nd Bn. Killed in action at the Somme on 3 August 1916.
