Details: Edred Severs Lacey (1887-1916), born 2 May 1887 in Bournemouth, son of Charles James Lacey (1853-1934), solicitor, and Amy Lacey (née Dunman) (1857-1928) of North Bestwall, Wareham, Dorset, formerly of Crows Hill, Ringwood.

Cyril Dunman Lacey (1883-1941).


Attended Miss Vernon's preparatory school, Bournemouth.


Attended Sherborne School (School House) January 1901-April 1905.


Occupation: Farmer.


WW1, enlisted on 4 September 1914 as a Private in the Public School Battalion, 17th Middlesex Regiment; attached 11th Battalion, Cheshire Regiment.


Reported missing while serving with BEF during the Battle of the Somme on 21 October 1916, presumed killed.
