Details: Charles Reginald Pearson (1886-1904), son of Rev. John Henry Pearson and Laura A.M. Pearson, Twyford Vicarage, Buckinghamshire, formerly of Mudeford, Christchurch.

Attended Westbourne preparatory school, Bournemouth.

Attended Sherborne School (Abbey House) 1901-1903.

WW1, Cadet in the Merchant Service. Accidentally killed falling from aloft on training barque "Thistle".

Pearson's name appears to have been entered in error on the Sherborne School First World War Memorial and Book of Remembrance: he probably died in 1904 not 1914.
