Details: George Tudor Webb (1889-1916), born on 20 September 1889 in Kingsbridge, Devon. Second son of Dr William H. Webb, Kingsbridge, Devon (doctor in Kingsbridge and Medical Officer for the Borough).

 

Attended Kingsbridge Grammar School, Devon.

 

Attended Sherborne School (Abbeylands) September 1905-July 1907.

 

Studied medicine at Durham University.

 

In the Malay States until 1914.

 

WW1, 2nd Lieutenant in the Royal Fusiliers. Killed in France on 21 April 1916.
