Details: Arthur William Palling Caruthers-Little (1885-1915) also known as Arthur William Palling Little, born 30 October 1885 in Grantham, Lincolnshire, son of Colonel John Caruthers Little and Mrs. Maria J. Little of Pitchcombe House, Stroud, Gloucestershire.

Husband of Olive Murray Lannoy Caruthers-Little (née Tweedie) of Calder, Charlton Kings, Cheltenham.


Attended Saugeen School, Bournemouth.


Attended Sherborne School (Abbey House) September 1899-August 1903.


Attended Queen's College, Oxford.


Joined the Dorsetshire Regiment.


WW1, Captain in the Dorsetshire Regiment, 2nd Bn; Adjt. 5th (S.) Bn. Killed at Gallipoli on 7 August 1915.
