Details: Bernard Charles Bennett, born 11 February 1890 at Chilmark, Wiltshire, son of Edward John Bennett and Katherine Maud Bennett of Manor Farm, Chilmark, Salisbury, Wiltshire. Brother of Edward Self Bennett. Husband of Winifred Drake (formerly Bennett, nee Waters) of Lower Bryanston, Blandford, Dorset. Married 20 May 1916.


Attended Clevedon House Preparatory School, Weymouth.


Attended Sherborne School (Harper House) January 1905-July 1907. Took part in the 1905 Sherborne Pageant


Occupation: Farmer.


WW1, Sergeant (no.230026.) in the Dorset Yeomanry (Queen's Own), 1st Bn. Died on 4 May 1917 in Palestine.
