Details: Percy Redmond Adams (1884-1918), born 2 February 1884, son of Frederick Glynn Adams and Grace Mary Adams of Lustleigh, Tavistock Road, Croydon. Husband of Laura Adams, of 76, Belmont Avenue, Ottawa, Ontario.

 

Attended Sherborne Preparatory School.

 

Attended Sherborne School (School House) September 1898-April 1901.

 

WW1, Private in the Canadian Infantry (British Columbia Regiment). Service number 687917. Killed during an attack by his Battalion at Villers, Cagnicourt on 2nd September 1918, the final objective had been reached, and it was while holding the position that he was instantly killed by a machine gun bullet.
