Details: John Stephen Arnold Musto (1934-1962), born on 16 October 1934 at Bishop's Stortford, Buckinghamshire, son of Sir Arnold Albert Musto CIE and Margaret Musto (née McCausland) of Cadbury Camp Lane, Clapton-in-Gordano, Bristol.

 

Attended The Elms Preparatory School, Colwall, Herefordshire.

 

Attended Sherborne School (School House) September 1948-December 1952; 6th form; Lance-Corporal in CCF.

 

Gunner (Radar Operator), Royal Artillery.

 

Drowned on 27 June 1962 while on army exercise at Mőhnesee, Soest, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany.

 

Buried at the British Military Cemetery, Rheindahlen, Germany (Number 11, row A, plot B).
