Details: Beverley Stuart Gael (1931-1951), born on 26 October 1931 in Bristol, son of Douglas Stuart Gael and Phyllis Gael (née Lawson). Phyllis Gael remarried in 1947 to Frederick Eden, Manor Steps, Ascot, Berkshire, formerly of Little Thatcher, Binfield, Berkshire.


Attended Earleywood Preparatory School, Ascot, Berkshire.


Attended Sherborne School (Abbeylands) September 1945-December 1948; 6th form; House Prefect; PT Instructor with Badge.


Second Lieutenant, Gloucestershire Regiment (service no. 413584).


Died on 17 June 1951 while a Prisoner of War in Korea.


Commemorated at:

Commonwealth Memorial at the United Nations Memorial Cemetery, Pusan.
