Details: Robert Henry Thomas Baker (1937-1962), born 26 June 1937, son of Brigadier Euston Edward Francis Baker (Old Shirburnian), Stanbridge House, Amersham, Buckinghamshire. Nephew of George Lionel John Baker (1896-1917) Brother of Lionel Francis Baker (b.1921) and Geoffrey Leonard Baker (b.1924).


Attended Stubbington House School, Farnham, Hampshire.


Attended Sherborne School (Abbey House), September 1951-December 1955; 6th form; House Prefect; Gym Colours (1955); PT Instructor; member of Music Club; Corporal in CCF (RAF section).


Attended RAF College, Cranwell.


Flight Lieutenant, Royal Air Force, 111 Squadron. Died in a flying accident on 7 June 1962 at Silk Willoughby, Sleaford, Lincolnshire, when his Hawker Hunter T7 stalled and crashed while in a slow right turn. Both crew were killed.


Buried at St Catherine's churchyard, Ringshall, Suffolk.
