Details: Stormont Hays Card, born 19 January 1886 at Sidcup, Kent, son of Arthur William Card, Fernleigh, Sidcup, Kent.


Attended Miss Colebrook's preparatory school, Southsea.


Attended Sherborne School (The Green) January 1899-December 1903.


Attended Pembroke College, Oxford, matriculated in 1912.


Occupation: Bank clerk. Lived at Borogarth, St Peter Street, St Albans, Hertfordshire.


WW1, 2nd Lieutenant in the Prince Albert's (Somerset Light Infantry), 1st Bn. Served in the trenches in the winter of 1915-1916 with the Public Schools Battalion, and was gazetted to the Dorsets in August 1916, subsequently changing to the Somerset Light Infantry. Died 10/11 April 1917 near Fampoux in the first battle of Arras.
