First Snow First Light

Had the good fortune to head out this morning up to Mt Hood with Ryan (www.flickr.com/photos/ryandyar) and Jesse (www.flickr.com/photos/rasone). We snowshoed up the White River to see how things looked after this weekend's storm. I was really excited to dust off the snowshoes and get out exploring. There's something magical about the first real snowfall of the year.

The conditions were wonderful, and we were blessed to experience one of the best sunrises I've ever witnessed. It was a brief window, because less than an hour later it was socked in and back to storming.
