My company is one of the few, if not only one I've worked for that gives employees Good Friday off. How cool is that? So my buddy, Steve and I decided to head north to Montana De Oro State Park near San Luis Obispo.

One of the must sees for me was Spooner's Cove with these cool multi-layered rock formations.

The formation on the right reminds me of a Petrified Stegosaurus, and the curved one in the distance looks like giant shark's fin -- hence the title, Petrified.
