Not a lot of people realize that Los Angeles has a pair of Twin Towers designed by the same architect who designed the more famous ones in NYC. Or maybe they do, and it was just me who was the ignoramus.
In fact, they opened just a couple of years after the ones in Manhattan, in 1975. Not only that, but you could literally call them the little brothers of the World Trade Center in New York City, since at 44 stories and 571 feet tall, they're less than half the height of their celebrated siblings.
But if you look closely, the resemblance is remarkable.
