Kathmandu at night?

Newer Older

Can anybody guess at what time i took this? (See the previous picture)

Long exposure shot of Kathmandu from Budhanilkantha... Max aperture, highest ISO setting, with noise reduction for long exposure and high ISO both set to high... Its like shooting in the day.... The long streaks of lights are vehicles moving around...

Nineish at night? The town does look rather purty, all lit up like that and by the looks of it, Budhanilkantha is fast filling up with houses.......

Yep, around nine... It is really rather pretty... Sadly most of the light is obscured by pollution... I didn't realize this, but rai_sonic's house is also in the picture...

Hi, I'm an admin for a group called Kathmandu!, and we'd love to have this added to the group!

Some people do not like the pollution in Nepal but to me it adds to the atmosphere (excuse the pun)..... It gives the city a soft glow at night which i love!
