you see most were just placed there with no permission. The area now belongs to the Paine family If you purchase one of the 80 properties you have to also pay a yearly lease fee for the ground and a service charge
so you own the building but not the ground it stands on
A strange community I spoke to a couple of resident who are non to pleased about the amount of tourists yet happy to sell their images and art work to tourists
There is talk of a toll gate being installed ready for next year
