Bakhaw Beach, Malapascua Island, Cebu, The Philippines.

Welcome to my Zen Garden.

I spent a few hours wading out in the waist-deep water working on these frames. A more relaxing photographic experience I have yet to enjoy.

GEEK:

I used a variety of filters for varying effects, but for these I always had on my ND1000 to smooth out the water. From time to time I would use my Black Sock masking technique, and other times I would hold a Graduated Neutral Density Filter in front of the lens. I don't much feel like writing out the info for each photo today - you can probably guess where I used what.

Beautiful, man. It made me feel more peaceful just looking at it, so I can imagine how it felt to actually be there!
