Known as ramyeon in Korea and ramen around the world, these noodles have helped millions of kids get through college and countless ex-pat teachers survive harsh subsidized housing conditions.

Megan opened up a copy of our cookbook last night and put together a veritable Korean feast for us. It was a nice little slice of nostalgia, a trip down memory lane. Looking through the cookbook I was reminded of how much work we put into it; over six weeks I shot something in the neighborhood of 6,000 images while Megan cooked more than 100 dishes. These images didn't make the final cut and haven't seen the light of day... until now.
You can order a copy of our Korean cookbook, The Ubiquitous Kimchi, from Blurb books. Learn how to gorge yourself on blood sausage, Korean rice wine and soju cocktails. You won't regret it. This is the link.
