• Profoto AcuteB pack at minimum power, triggered by PocketWizard.
  • Profoto AcuteB head with Zoom reflector, zoomed to the tightest beam and feathered high.
  • Evan doing a fantastic job of staying out of the shot.
  • Silver/white foamcore, silver side in use.
  • We did a series as 2-shots with Davina as well, though I think the 1-shots of Jennifer worked better.
  • Anita, our makeup artist, on reflector duty.
  • Marissa, the wardrobe stylist, standing by for tweaks.
  • Evan ends up in the shot when Jennifer zigs instead of zagging.
  • Profoto AcuteB pack on a shoulder strap. For what it is, this thing weighs almost nothing.
  • Front door into my studio.
  • Semi-private alley leading to the studio. Because it's so narrow, the light is always gorgeously soft: the street was an f/11 @ 125th here, the alley was an f/1.4.
  • Across the street from my studio.

Setup shot for these images of Jennifer. That's the lovely Evan Lewis in the background lending a helping hand or two.
