Fragrance of the Evening

A flower directly from my patio.

This plant, native to Central America, has exquisitely perfumed flowers whose fragrance wafts gently through the air for quite a distance. In South Asian countries, women wrap "lei"-like garlands around their hair or wrists as they stroll around in the evening, and therefore this flower brings around a lot of romantic connotations.

Here's a link about the Polianthes Tubaroasa that shows you how the tiny flower grows in clusters.
