• No planes/vapor trails or nuthink :)
  • The trees go heaps more this way too----->
  • Had I realised that the fields either side were rapeseed, I might have waited a week till it was all out. Didnt know that till I got there.

221/365 One Among Many

Newer Older

There is a line of trees so tall and majestic they dangerously draw my eye away from the road everytime I drive past. For years Ive looked at them from far away. Today it made me incredibly happy to take some time out alone to locate them, to enjoy the late afternoon sunshine and peace and to make this photograph.

It gave me an adrenalin rush as I dashed back and forth to my tripod and a real buzz driving home, knowing I had got what I wanted (at last). *This* is photography. God bless it.

    Sweet extra pic!

But you've got a serious walk ahead of you if you're wearing heels. ;-)

I loved the first one, I absolutely adore the second one!
It could almost be a watercolour painting.

I can understand your feelings about this treeline! The first one is wonderful, but I really love the second...walking away. My eyes were drawn from your figure, all the way down the path and back to you again, and this happened more than once! fantastic work!

Snap I've also been drawn by these trees every time I've passed them. It looks as though I was there a few days before you. It was one of the first days this year when it was pleaseurable to sit down a wait for the right light.

Easily one of your best. The one on the comments where you are walking away reminded me of the Scottish Widows adverts. Maybe some ideas there?
