The Changing Room Chair
For years, I have loved this chair and longed to photograph it. It looks like it has been white, yellow ochre and green in it's lifetime, but the paint is so worn you really can't tell the order in which it received those new coats.
I take my daughters to their swimming lessons at this pool every Saturday, it is part of a really old Girl's School in Letchworth, St Francis. It's a friendly family run outfit, and always busy, this empty atmosphere only occurs whilst myself and the other parents are at the poolside watching, encouraging and feeling proud. Today I popped out mid-lesson, before I took the cheque book I had fetched from my car to pay for the fees, I composed and captured The Chair.
