Weaving through the notorious Saigon rush hour traffic

I had been lamenting about the 50 strong crowd in our tour bus and the sheer number of tour buses picking up passengers at TNK Travel, here is one sight to make me feel a bit better. So here we are, weaving through the notorious Saigon morning rush hour. And rather than feel irritated, I was downright fascinated by the sheer number of motor scooters up ahead. My native India is known for a more than large number of bicycles, scooters and motorcycles, but this one sure takes the cake! Our guide told us that there were 45 million motor scooters in Vietnam to cater to 91 million residents, which is roughly one motor scooter for every two people. Impressive.
