Nasi Goreng Kampung

So here it folks, my plate of Nasi Goreng Kampung. Beautifully presented and very tasty indeed. Nasi Goreng Kampung is Indonesia style fried rice (in Bhasa Indonesia, nasi= rice, goreng= fried, Kampung= name of the region). It is served with salad, dips and wafers. I had this for lunch at the Poring Hot Springs restaurant near KK. A word about the dips: the red one on the left was predominantly ginger. So so. The one on the right was raw mango in white sauce. It was so delicious that I was tempted to lick the dish! I asked for some more, and the lovely lady brought me another twin dish like the one here, filled completely with that mango dip. Wow! I couldn't ask for thirds, so liking the dish this time was a real possibility, but I let commonsense, decorum and decency prevail! (Kota Kinabalu, East Malaysia, Nov. 2013)
