Northern Lights.... in Ohio?!

    Newer Older

Best night of my life! I've never been more excited about anything ever before. Sadly it died out shortly after i snapped the first few photos, but it was such an incredible sight to see. I've got a few panoramas to put together that will be uploaded later!

Shane - see you live in Ohio. I'm travelling up to N Finland at the end of Nov to go in search of the Northern Lights and would be very interested to find out what sort of settngs/ exposures / white balance you were using on this series of photos
      Many thanks Travel-bag

You can always try to check the EXIF information under actions in the upper left by the favorite star. Some people disable this though.

Wow...What a spectacular sight and you captured it so beautifully. I've only see this once over the past 10 years in South Dakota and it was one of the most beautiful and amazing things I have ever experienced. We were driving and unfortunately I wasn't into photography at that time...no camera with me!

I'm glad you had your camera! I watched this from just outside Kansas City, and texted my dau and her hubby in MS, who also got to see it. First time in my lifetime for me. Great capture.
