7-26-10 visit to Glacier National Park, Montana. I believe this is St. Mary's Falls just past Logan Pass coming from West Glacier to St. Mary's off the Going to the Sun Road. Brett and I packed a lot into my short visit to the park, so I hope I got the name of the falls right. In any case, it is a nice hike from the GTSR through the woods to this spectacular falls. We set up with the morning sun at our backs and played with different exposures to see what worked. I like this shot the best of the ones I took because it tends to show motion in the water as it rushes over the falls.
