World Naked Bike Ride 2008
After attending and shooting last year's World Naked Bike Ride in Chicago, one of the organizers asked me to consider being an official photographer for the 2008 ride.

The ride happened Saturday night, June 14, and was amazing - lots of fun for both participants and spectators. Over the course of about 8 hours I shot around 1,400 photos. I'm diligently working on editing and will try to have photos uploaded soon as possible.

I will upload in three stages. 1) preride festivities, 2) the ride, 3) the after party.

UPDATE: I've uploaded photos to Flickr. Now I'm working on a slide show with about twice as many photos. I'll probably post it on Youtube. Check back here for an update. I'll provide a link to the slide show here.

Many, if not most, of these photos will contain naked people, so if you want to see all of my photos you need to be sure your account is set to view "unsafe" photos. "Unsafe" photos are the ones that show nudity. (yes I know how stupid that sounds. i like flickr for many things. this isn't one of them.)

If you are unsure if your account is set properly, go to the set of images I have from last years ride. There are 75 photos in that set. If you are not seeing all 75, then your account is not set to view unsafe photos.

Changing your account so you can see all these photos is easy. Go to the Privacy & Permissions tab on your account page:

At the bottom of the page is the setting for content filtering. Be sure safe search is turned off.

If you have problems with this, feel free to email me.

If you were brought to this page from an outside link, you will need to sign up for your own Flickr account first. It's free - just click on the flickr logo at the top of the page and follow the instructions to create your own account. (then follow my instructions above to set your privacy settings.)
