Downtown L.A. and Harbor Freeway

One of the most famous angles of the Los Angeles skyline, this vantage point is usually shot at twilight or at night, with a long exposure, so the streaking lights add a touch of glamour. The reality of L.A. traffic is anything but sexy, although the canyon-like view from the 110 is impressive. This photo was taken in 2014; a number of new towers have since been added alongside the freeway, including the city's tallest, the Wilshire Grand.
