    After years of community planning, the SFMTA is installing separated bikeways on Cesar Chavez between Highway 101 and Interstate 280.

    People are already benefiting from extra room and safety on this busy corridor.

      it's great to see this happening! i used to work at 3rd & Cesar Chavez, and that stretch from 101 to 3rd was always an adrenaline rush, to put it mildly. I usually just rode on the sidewalks.

      So great for the folks who bike to Cal Train (and my home to art studio route), long overdue. Now if they could sort out that dicey bit by the east bound right hand turn lane for Evans...
