I have to say there is an intriguing atmosphere on this photo I like.
And the strength of it is surely the green of the lights and the snow. You create a mysterious tone.

The picture is taken from the South side pedestrian path of the Manhattan Bridge, its a very fertile path, photography wise, there are millions of potential photos as the bridge falls into chinatown, an awesome spot.

As for your second question, this has been renovated, its an incredible spot, an elevated park,
called the high line, you can see before and after images here

Absolutely love your work (as you might have guessed from the thousand favourites!). What lenses do you use? And do you ever do prints for people?

Hi pocket creative, thanks for your comments, you've got some great stuff going on with your pics too, I particularily like the colors in the Stradbroke Island pics. As for printing, i havent really figured my relationship to that yet but we could maybee do a trade if you want to. And finally i try and include exif data on all my recent files, (the earlier ones used to drop the exif as I used save for web rather that save as dialogue).
Just click on the camera model text link in the top right hand corner of an individual picture (just below the pic thumbnail and text that says By Blahblahblah) page the exif will display. Its very comprehensive and much better that a partial discription an its pick by pic. I also use Lightroom relatively heavily) and photoshop to process the files.
      Cheers

Thanks for that - very helpful. We could do a swap although that wouldn't be a very fair swap for you! Maybe just keep me in mind in case you ever decide to do something with your photos - they would make great prints. Cheers!
