Storm Clouds O'er the Patowmack Canal HDR

this is the historical Patowmack Canal in Great Falls National Park in McLean, Virginia...but this area is actually along the Great Falls, Maryland side of the canal...construction of this historical canal began in 1785 and took 17 years to complete it...we were actually headed down this path to photograph the Great Falls of the Potomac River but halfway down the path, some fast moving storm clouds rolled right in and looked very ominous so we decided to backtrack towards the car...lucky we did coz as soon as we left the lot, it started to pour down heavily...plan to go back some other time though to get some nice pictures of the Great Falls so stay tuned...pls.
